Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Marissa Herrman and I am so excited about meeting my new class. This is my eighth year teaching at Ada Harris. Before Ada Harris I was teaching in Del Mar. Below you will find some interesting facts about me:

* I attended San Diego State University where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. I received my teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos.

* Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a designer for two San Diego architectural firms.

* I have two adorable (on most days) little boys. My oldest is in 2nd grade and my youngest is in kindergarten. 

* I am incredibly passionate about traveling and learning about the world around me.

* I hope to one day own property in Central America (Nicaragua has my heart). 

* In my free time I enjoy yoga, running after my boys, and relaxing on our local beaches!

* I love, love, ahi poke and guacamole!
