Welcome to Ada Harris School

Ada Harris is located in the beautiful beach community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea.  We are fortunate to enjoy a lovely campus and surroundings but the people here are what truly makes it the best place to learn and grow.  Ada Harris is a California Distinguished School serving approximately 365 students in grades three through six.

Our dedicated staff members work with students to create experiences that maximize their learning potential.  Our staff is committed to preparing our students for success in middle school, high school, college, career and beyond.  We value academics and pride ourselves in providing a blended learning atmosphere that is built around critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity and choice.   

Our learning extends beyond the classroom with technology and our 1:1 iPad program.  Thanks to a generous partnership between the district and Cardiff SEA, we are able to keep class sizes small and use technology to enhance and personalize student learning every day.  We offer specialty courses as part of our regular school day to all students that currently include music, Spanish, STEAM and physical education.

The extra-curricular Wildcat Band for students in grades four through six further enriches the Ada Harris culture.  They play throughout the year for the school and the Cardiff community.  Each performance fills us with pride and we are excited to offer this amazing opportunity to our students.

Our teachers and staff inspire a love of learning each and every day with their positive mindset and outlook on life!  They are true professionals that love children and education.  It brings me great joy to be a part of this supportive community and I hope you enjoy it too!
