Cardiff SEA Music Boosters

    The Cardiff SEA Music Boosters (Ada Harris Music Boosters) is a sub-committee of the Cardiff SEA. We are parent - volunteers working to support music education in the Cardiff School District by providing organizational support and fundraising efforts for the Ada Harris Wildcat Band. We need to fill committee positions and we need occasional volunteers! Please contact us or stop by if you want to check it out!  
     
    Our Booster Meetings are held in the Ada Harris Music Room at 8:30am on one Wednesday each month. Here is our schedule for the 2024-2025 school year:

    Our Mission

    On behalf of the Cardiff community, to keep instrumental music education available to our children.

    Funding Sources

    The band program is primarily funded and dependent on donations from participating band families. A portion of our funding also comes from the Cardiff School District, the City of Encinitas, and community fundraising events. Due to budget constraints, we receive very little district funding; and, as a public school program, we cannot charge fees. Family contributions account for up to 80% of our budget each year! The suggested donation per student is $350/year. 
     

    How can you help?

    • Make a donation!

    • Volunteer! We need help at concerts and events, administrative help, fundraising, bake or buy goods for bake sales, etc.

    • Attend a booster meeting.

    • Plan a fundraising event (dinner out nights)

    • Research and write grants

    • Have another idea? Tell us how you would like to help!
