Dear Parent,

 

Bullying is not tolerated at Cardiff School (Board Policy 5131.2).  Any reported incident is handled swiftly and thoroughly.  Our most effective approach to preventing bullying is through our positive school culture. Through the implementation of The Cardiff Way, we strive to help all students to be included and to feel safe and empowered. We teach students to include others in work and play, to be respectful of each other’s differences and to handle disagreements and conflicts peacefully. Students are taught what bullying is and what it is not and they are told specific steps to take if they feel they are being bullied.  The poster below is posted in all Cardiff classrooms.
