Speech and language assessment and treatment include the following:*Articulation - the ability to clearly produce speech sounds.*Receptive Language - the ability to understand spoken, written, and/or gestural language.*Expressive Language - the ability to speak, write, and/or use other symbol systems (e.g. sign language) to communicate.*Voice - vocal quality including characteristics such as loudness, pitch, or resonance.*Fluency - repetitions in sounds, syllables, words, and phrases or atypical rate/rhythm.*Pragmatic Language - social language skills used in our daily interactions with others.
