• Free & Reduced Eligibility

For school year 2024-2025, the Cardiff School District participates in the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program by offering healthy meals every school day.

The California Universal Meals Program, AB 130, requires public school districts serving students in grades K–12 to provide two meals free of charge (breakfast and lunch) during each school day to students requesting a meal, regardless of their free or reduced-price meal eligibility. Although meals are free of charge, families are encouraged to submit a meal application. The information collected ensures our schools receive adequate funding and can offer your family additional benefits such as discounted fees. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. You or your children do not have to be U.S. citizens to qualify for free meals.

All families are encouraged to apply if they think they may qualify. Please see the links below for an application. You can turn them into your school office.
