The purpose of the materials linked below is to support families with resources related to important information regarding the potential impacts of recent changes to immigration policy.
These materials, provided by the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), are not intended as legal advice or endorsement of a particular organization.- Step-by-Step Family Preparedness Plan: This toolkit from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center goes into detail about different childcare options available in case of an absent parent, where to find trusted immigration services, and how to prepare for contact with an immigration officer.
- Red Cards / Tarjetas Rojas: These cards from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center are available in 16 languages to help people understand and assert their constitutional rights.
- Community Resources for Immigration, Asylum, and Refugee Cases: This directory includes more than a dozen organizations in San Diego and Orange counties and the services they provide.
