Hello Students and Parents,
Welcome to our Fifth Grade 2025-2026 School Year. I am excited about this year, both in welcoming back some of my amazing students from last year, as well as meeting some new amazing kids! The first day of school will be Tuesday August 12th. We are busy preparing your classroom and materials. You only need to bring your precious smiles, a backpack, refillable water bottle, lunch, and a snack. We will continue to have free lunch and breakfast program this year for all students.
When you have a moment, we would appreciate you filling out our beginning of the year student information form. All of the information you provide about your child is incredibly helpful for us to get to know them and help them throughout the school year. If you were in my class last year, there are still a few required questions to answer, but you can choose if you would like to fill out the longer get-to-know-you questions.
This year's Back to School Night at Ada Harris will be Thursday, August 21st at 6pm in Room 11. There is also an informational meeting at 5:45pm in the auditorium with Mrs. Scheftner. Please note that this is a parent-only event. We look forward to meeting you all very soon!
