Welcome to Ada Harris School

Located in the heart of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Ada Harris is a vibrant and welcoming school for students in grades three through six. While enjoying a campus near the beach is a wonderful benefit, it is truly the people who make it such an exceptional place to learn and grow.

 

We are a California Distinguished School serving approximately 365 students, and we are deeply committed to helping our Wildcats become mindful learners, compassionate citizens, and global thinkers. Following The Cardiff Way, we focus on creating a warm, supportive community where students learn to show empathy, respect diverse perspectives, set personal goals, and truly believe in their ability to grow.

 

Learning at Ada Harris extends well beyond traditional instruction. Thanks to a fantastic partnership between our district and the Cardiff SEA, we keep class sizes small and maintain a 1:1 iPad program, empowering students to use technology responsibly as inspired innovators. In addition to core academics, all students participate in hands-on specialty classes during the school week, including STEAM, Physical Education, Library, Spanish (for fourth, fifth and sixth grades) plus Music and Garden for third grade. We also offer Garden Club to all students and the locally famous Wildcat Band (available to fourth, fifth and sixth grade) brings spirit to our campus and performs throughout the year.

They love what they do and work tirelessly to inspire a lifelong love of learning, encouraging our students to be flexible, resourceful thinkers who tackle challenges with confidence.
