Instructional Services

In Cardiff Schools, our Instructional Services work is supported by our two school principals and our superintendent. We work collaboratively with our district curriculum committees and our specialty teachers to support teaching and learning K-6. We are focused on curriculum development, instruction, assessment, and ongoing professional development to support our district goals of excellence in student learning and an engaged learning environment. The timeline for district adoption of new instructional materials is aligned with the State Board of Education adoption schedule.

Should parents have questions or concerns regarding curriculum that they believe interferes with their sincerely held religious beliefs and seek to opt their student out of such curriculum, they should contact their child’s school principal for a Request for Opt-Out Based on Religious Belief form, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
