Computer Lab Activities
Kindergarten students enjoy a variety of age-appropriate software programs which are selected to teach computer skills and to complement the reading skills they are learning in their class.
First Graders and Second Graders are introduced to keyboarding and word-processing by using the programs Read, Write & Type and Stationary Studio. In addition to these programs, teachers occasionally request lessons on how to use specific web sites related to the classroom curriculum.
Third Graders begin learning Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, Internet browsing skills and continue with keyboarding lessons.
