Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Marissa Herrman and I am so excited about meeting my new class. This is my tenth year teaching at Ada Harris. Before Ada Harris I was teaching in Del Mar. Below you will find some interesting facts about me:

* I attended San Diego State University where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. I received my teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos.

* Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an interior designer for two San Diego architectural firms.

* I have two adorable (on most days) little boys. My oldest is in the third grade and my youngest is in first . 

* I am incredibly passionate about traveling and learning about the world around me.

* I hope to one day own property in Central America (Nicaragua has my heart). 

* In my free time I enjoy pilates, reading, and relaxing on our local beaches!

* I love, love, ahi poke, guacamole, and soft chocolate chip cookies!

* I am a big kid at heart and enjoy joking around with my students and dance parties!
